Established in 1908 BOND & SHERWILL JOHN BROWN specialise in the selling and management of residential property within the Coulsdon, Old Coulsdon, Chipstead, Kingswood, Purley and surrounding local areas.
Today the firm has four offices in well positioned and prominent locations, with our experienced sales staff offering a helpful and friendly service. We offer a free, no-obligation, realistic market appraisal of your home based on many years’ experience of selling properties within the area.
We also have an active Management Department based at our Coulsdon Office and the staff are only too happy to answer any questions you may have relating to the letting or rental of residential property.
Our Professional Department under the auspices of Geoffrey S Bacon BSc (Est. Man.) FRICS covers all matters relating to the survey and valuation of both commercial and residential property and to the management of commercial premises.
We believe we are the oldest-established estate agency in Coulsdon. We are proudly independent but at the same time also bring to our Clients the benefits of co-operation with other agents through:
• our membership of the CONNECT GROUP, a network of local independent estate agents providing a multi-listing service at no extra cost to the client; and
• participation in the RIGHTMOVE and FINDAPROPERTY online property marketing systems, enabling people to contact us or search for property from their own homes outside office hours.
Bond & Sherwill John Brown manages many residential units, including flats, maisonettes and houses, located across a wide area embracing Coulsdon, Caterham, Purley, South Croydon, Banstead, Kingswood and other districts.
For Landlords, we offer a prompt and reliable service in the careful selection of tenants to occupy your properties. The completion of the Tenancy Agreement is normally undertaken directly by our own staff. The level of our involvement in the subsequent management of the property is for you to choose, whether simply the collection of rent, or a comprehensive service including all necessary repairs and maintenance, or something in between. Our fee rates are competitive and our Consultant Surveyor - who is a practising chartered surveyor - is available to advise on the problems that may arise.
